Description
The First Strike Tactical Black Patrol Pack is the result of development with end users. Using the Berghaus Munro as our starting poing we decided to look at what was needed for specialist Fire Arms Units.
The Patrol Pack is based on a 30 ltr main sack with an additional extra 10 lts of storage in the side mesh storage pockets.
The top flap has been lengthened and flattened to allow the storage of bulky items under the flap, also on the top flap are two Velcro Closure antenna/hydration ports to allow a Camelbak or radio to be placed in the main compartment and still be able to seal the pack. The internal storm collar also has holes in to allow aerials/tubes to be placed through.
On the outside of the top flap is a zip closure pocket and 100mm camo Velcro patch for the attachment of badges, on the inside of the flap is another zipper closer mesh pocket.
The shoulder harness has been widened specifically so it sits better while wearing body armour, as well as wider shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are attached to the main pack via quick release buckles, to allow easy ditching of the pack in emergencies.
On the front of the shoulder straps are two rows of MOLLE loops to allow the mounting of a GPS system of PRR radio, the shoulder straps also come with a sternum strap to stop straps falling of when body armour is worn.
On the front of the pack are 6 rows of 6 MOLLE loops for the attachment of additional pouches.
As mentioned the pack also has two MESH side pockets that are box bottomed shaped that means you are able to use the whole mesh pouch for storage, pockets are big enough to take a 2ltr bottle of water.
The pouches also feature two quick release compression straps to stop your kit from escaping
